Radha Krishna is a Hindu deity. Krishna is often referred to in theology as the Lord Himself and Radha is a young woman, Krishna's dearest lover. Along with Krishna, Radha is accepted as the supreme goddess and it is said that she controls Krishna with her love. It is believed that Krishna enchants the world, but Radha even captures him. Therefore she is the supreme goddess among all goddesses.

There are early references to the worship of the Lord, the spiritual love relationship between the divine Krishna and his devotee Radha began to be worshiped throughout India when Jayadeva Goswami wrote the famous Gita-Govinda in the twelfth century. It is believed that Krishna left the circle of Rasa dance to find Radha. The Chaitanya sect believes that Radha's name and identity have been kept secret and exposed in the verses describing this event in the Bhagavata Purana. It is also believed that Radha is not just a shepherd's daughter, but the origin of all the divine personalities who participate in the Raas dance.
