The Upright Readings

unexpected change, loss, failure, transformation, death, bad luck, Endings, change, transformation, transition

This card is a 'Yes' positive card. Nobody wants to talk about death. Everyone is afraid of death. But death is an eternal truth. Even the god has to be obeying death in human incarnations. Do not be intimidated by this card right now. It is the hidden story of Satyavan Savitri. Which inspires that you can fight the negative forces in your life.

You may have to see unexpected changes. Loss, failure, death, misfortune, end... Now you may think what is positive about this? The positive is that you were unaware of these incidents earlier. Now you know about it. You know in advance when there will be losses. For example, if an accident is in your destiny, then it will happen. But if you know about it in advance, you will be cautious and will get a few scratches only.

Misfortune is called 'Sadesati' in astrology. When you know that sadesati is going on then you do not expect much from yourself, or any other.

If there are losses in business, you know the reason. Now you do not get upset. You know 'if and buts' behind the scene to spoil the job.

Let us discuss the death; you may get the news of someone's death in close relations, in the friend's circle, or the neighborhoods. Do not be afraid, you are neither going to die nor any family member.

Death is a transformation and transition of the soul from one world to another. That is the Fourth Dimension.

The Reverse Readings

immobility, slow changes, cheating, death, stagnation, Resistance to change, personal transformation, inner purging

Let us wipe off the sweat on the grim face. The heartbeat has increased, control that too.

You will feel immobility in everything. Changes will slow down. There is a possibility of cheating, with you. There may be a standstill due to the death. There will be resistance to change in your life. There will be a smooth personal change. The strength of your mind to bear the pain will increase. You will calm down. Your inner purification will also take place. Jealousy, hatred, anger towards people, everything will subside. Death card will take you towards detachment. You will win your ego and lust.

Death

Now, friends, there is another time to get a surprise. Get ready.

Till up to this card, your might have many doubts about the illustrations given by Bhrigu Rishi and me, as a presenter.

Now please study all figures in detail.

The Modern Tarot card is showing a skeleton with a black warrior’s costume on the white horse. The skeleton is holding a reverse-direction black flag in his left arm.

A male dead body is lying on the ground. A female is crying on her knees. An old man with a gown is praying the skeleton. A girl child is also on her knees. The skeleton may be a scary figure but not the god of death.

This is nothing but Satyavan Savitri's story.

Yam, a god of death is riding on the (male) buffalo (named Hola or Halya). Satyavan’s dead body is lying on the ground. Savitri his wife is pleading to the god of Death, Yam, for her husband's life.

A pale white figure is Satyavan’s soul.

The European artist has included a baby child in this card. This is a complete mythological story of Satyavan Savitri.

The detailed story.

Savitri was more dazzling and beautiful than any other woman in the world. When it came time to be married, she had no suitors because all the men around her were intimidated by her beauty and her sharp mind.

Her father denies responsibility to get his daughter suitably married and asked her to find a husband for herself. Savitri found handsome Satyavan, whose father was not only blind but had lost his kingdom. Then, Narada tells her that Satyavan will live for only one year from the day they marry. Her father does not object to this most unsuitable husband and Savitri leaves the luxuries of the palace to live with Satyavan and his parents on the edge of the forest, as a woodcutter.

On the last day of Satyavan, Savitri goes with him into the forest. As he was chopping wood, he falls asleep in her lap. Savitri knew that he might die.

When Yama came to take his soul, Savitri refuses to leave her husband and follows the god of Death. Yama asked her to go back, but she argues, extolling first, the virtues of obedience to dharma and the company of good people. Eventually, she praises Yama, wielder of the rod of punishment, dispenser of justice.

Yama was impressed not only with her devotion to her husband but also by her intellect. Each time she defeats him with one of her arguments, he offers her a boon to return her husband’s life.

Savitri asked her father-in-law’s eyesight to be restored, then the kingdom. And finally, be the mother of a hundred sons. Yama was happy to grant her that then he realizes that the boon cannot be fulfilled unless he returns Satyavan's soul.

Yama restored Satyavan to life only because Savitri was devoted, she was willing to follow her husband even into the realms of the dead. It was this single wifely virtue, more than any other, that compelled the God of Death to acquiesce to her demand.

It is clear from the beginning that Savitri was a most unusual woman she was beautiful, she was learned, she was determined. Yama blessed Savitri more than just a wife did.
